Harbaugh expected to be introduced as Michigan coach at noon Tuesday

The University of Michigan has announced that interim Athletic Director Jim Hackett will hold a press conference to make a major announcement regarding Michigan football Tuesday.

The press conference will begin at approximately noon in the Junge Family Champions Center in Ann Arbor.

The press conference will be streamed live on MGoBlue.com and will also be carried live by the Big Ten Network and ESPN.

The Detroit Free Press reported Monday night that Michigan All-American Jim Harbaugh will become the Wolverine’s 20th head coach.

According to the report, Harbaugh has signed a deal and will be introduced at the press conference.

The Big Ten Network at 9:45 a.m. will air the 1986 Michigan-Notre Dame game in which Harbaugh led the Wolverines to a 24-23 win over the Fighting Irish.
