Four arraigned on meth charges

Cass County Drug Enforcement Team announced that on Tuesday, Aug. 13, narcotics investigators searched two homes, one in the 69000 block of Cassopolis Road in Mason Township and one in the 67000 block of Calvin Center Road in Calvin Township.

A search of the properties found evidence of manufacturing methamphetamine, components to manufacture methamphetamine and methamphetamine product.

At the Cassopolis Road address, John Pillow, 41, and Bonita King, 42, were arrested on multiple methamphetamine-related charges and lodged at the Cass County Jail.

Pillow and King were arraigned in Fourth District Court in Cassopolis on Aug. 14.

Pillow’s bond was set at $40,000 and King’s bond was set at $15,000.

Pillow was charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house. King was charged with possession of methamphetamine.

At the Calvin Center Road address, Basil Rowe, 45, and Kristina May, 42, were arrested on multiple methamphetamine-related charges and lodged at the Cass County Jail.

Rowe and May were arraigned Fourth District Court on Aug. 14.

Rowe’s bond was set at $60,000 and May’s bond was set at $20,000.

Rowe was charged with operating and maintaining a methamphetamine lab, operating and maintaining a methamphetamine lab producing hazardous waste, manufacturing methamphetamine, conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house.

May was charged with possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house.
