Edwardsburg edges Chieftain 178-189

DOWAGIAC — It has been a busy week with back-to-back non-conference matches for the Dowagiac golf team.

The Chieftains were edged by visiting Three Rivers 194-196 at Hampshire Country Club Tuesday, while they were defeated by host Edwardsburg 178-189 at Four Lake Country Club Wednesday.

There was good news for Dowagiac against the Eddies as Travis Rehborg shot 39 to earn medalist honors

Luke Spagnoli shot 47, Jeremiah Bond 51 and Dane Spagnoli 52 against the Eddies.

Andrew Kurowki led Edwardsburg with a round of 42. Cody Schaap and Joseph Shively both shot 45, while Michael Wright carded a 46.

 

Three Rivers at Dowagiac 

Dane Spagnoli shot a 44 to lead Dowagiac against the Wildcats.

Rehborg shot a 49, Luke Spagnoli a 51 and Jeremiah Bond a 52.
