Niles offering physicals Aug. 2 and Aug. 7

Niles High School and Ring Lardner students who will participate in sports for the upcoming 2012-13 season must have a physical on file before being allowed to participate.

Physicians will be available to provide a sports physical Tuesday, Aug. 2 and Aug. 7 at the high school. The cost is $10.

Times for all three days are 3 to 4 p.m. for female and 4 to 5 p.m. for male athletes.

Forms are available at the Niles Athletic Office for those who wish to have their own doctors perform the physical.

Football tryouts begin for grades 9 through 12 Aug. 6. Tryouts for boys tennis, girls golf, boys soccer, cross country and volleyball begin Aug. 8.
