Co-valedictorians lead Niles academic top 10

Niles High School released its academic top 10 for the Class of 2012.

Co-valedictorian Alison Dawson is the daughter of Mike and Margaret Dawson. Her high school activities included the golf team, National Honor Society and student council. She plans to study pre-veterinarian at the University of Notre Dame.

Co-valedictorian Daniel Touhey is the son of Patrick and Deborah Touhey. His high school activities include the tennis team, National Honor Society, student council and school musical. He plans to attend New York University.

Salutatorian Taylor Brandstatter is the daughter of Patrick and Jane Brandstatter. Her high school activities included the basketball team, track team, volleyball team and National Honor Society. She plans to run track at DePauw University.

Rounding out the top 10 are: Bianca Kumar, Kaitlyn Dawson, Taylor Purucker, Evan Fredline, Austin Parks, Abigail McKeel, Taylor Campbell and Seth Purucker.
