Budding stars Megan and Liz have released their third EP, “Bad for Me.”

The fraternal Mace twins, who graduated from Edwardsburg High School in 2011, celebrate their 20th birthdays Wednesday and appear in the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade in New York on Thursday.

The EP features brand-new music co-written by this summer’s breakout due to be released Sunday on Collective Sounds and available on iTunes.

It’s been a whirlwind year for Megan and Liz, who moved to Nashville after graduation.

After building a fan base on YouTube with clever videos and catchy tunes, the sisters won a contest to perform at the iHeart Music Radio Festival in Las Vegas, where they performed on a roster that included some of today’s biggest artists, from their hero, Taylor Swift, to Rihanna.

Their performance, along with a feature interview, appeared on a nationwide broadcast seen on the CW.

Their single, “Bad for Me,” was featured in Macy’s national television back-to-school campaign commercial.

The hit went on to sell more than 125,000 units, be viewed on YouTube more than 5 million times with airplay on more than 65 radio stations across the country.

The New York Times called “Bad for Me” “a tidal rush of teen spite, delivered with cheery plasticity: ‘This one’s for the girls messing with the boys/Like he’s a melody and she’s background noise.”

Written with Boys Like Girls frontman Martin Johnson and Rob Hawkins, the Times said “Bad for Me” is “refreshingly pure pop … Liz sings lead and Megan takes harmonies, and together they’re peppy and irrepressible.”

Megan and Liz also earned a spot on Billboard’s “21 Under 21: 2012 Hottest Minors in Music.”

The EP’s seven songs include “Like I Would,” dedicated to their loyal fans.
