Frederick K. Pearson, 71, of Elkhart, Ind., died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013 in Elkhart General Hospital.

Fred was born Feb. 6, 1942 in Elkhart to Charles and Tessie Pearson.

He married Patricia Moles on Jan. 27, 1986 in Elkhart. She survives. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mary and Beulah Pearson; and three brothers, Chuck, Clint and Floyd Pearson.

Fred will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Moles) Pearson of Mishawaka, Ind.; one son, Frederick E. Pearson of Kalamazoo; four daughters, Marilyn Pearson, Lisa Ann (Mike McCully) Pearson of Elkhart, Crystal K. Pearson of Elkhart, Katherine Rena (Paul) Stewart of South Bend, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; and two sisters, Norma Jean and Sharon Pearson.

Fred’s family will observe a private remembrance.
