EDWARDSBURG — Josh Skube and Peggy Hasse were the long sprint winners of the fourth annual Eagle Lake Triathlon Saturday, sponsored by Eagle Lake Marine.

Skube finished the 600 yard swim, 17.2 mile bike and 5.3 mile run with a time of 1:23:11. Hasse finished with a time of 1:36:33.

The long sprint swim was shortened by 200 yards due to dense fog that slightly delayed the start of the triathlon as the course was rearranged.

Jason Law and Casey Ziegert won the short sprint, which consisted of a 200 yard swim, 6.9 bike ride and 1.4 mile run.

More on the triathlon can be found in this week’s Edwardsburg Argus.
