Primley, Zebell All-Sports winners

Kelsie Primley and Craig Zebell were the big winners at the Dowagiac Athletic Booster Clubs’ 63rd Annual All-Sports Reception.

Primley and Zebell captured the girls and boys All-Sports Awards.

Primley also shared the girls soccer award and won an Athletic Booster Club Scholarship and the Larry Cox Memorial Scholarship.

Zebell was named the boys soccer winner and received a Athletic Booster Club Scholarship.

Primley earned seven varsity letters in a trio of sports. She lettered all four years in soccer, two years in basketball and one year in volleyball.

She was All-Wolverine Conference in soccer twice, All-District and Academic All-State, also in soccer.

Primley joins here sister Emily (2009) and brother Chris (2007), as well as aunts Julie Turner (1986) and Cathy Turner (1983), along with cousins Jamie Cox (1997), Chris Cox (1980) and Larry Cox (1952).

Zebell earned eight varsity letters over his career in four sports. He lettered all four years in soccer, twice in basketball and once each in cross country and track.

He is a three-time All-State soccer selection as well as a four-time All-Conference and All-District honoree in soccer and a three-time All-Regional selection in soccer.

He has been named to the Academic All-State team in soccer and was the MHSAA Scholar Athlete Award winner, one of 32 in the state of Michigan, earlier this year.
