Church plans belltower fundraising exhibit

The First Presbyterian Church, 115 W. Front St. in Buchanan, will host an historical exhibit including items dated as old as the 1800s. Included in the exhibit, which is from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, is one of two remaining editions of the Berrien Independent.

The church is also holding two fundraisers Saturday for the restoration of its historic bell tower.  One is a homemade pie sale from 1 to 4 p.m. Pies are available by the slice or whole.  The second fundraiser is a sock hop from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.  Admission to the dance is $5 or $7 a couple with a $1 discount if dressed in 1950s style.
