Wolverine Conference raises $14,544 for Wes Leonard Foundation
PAW PAW — The Wolverine Conference will be presenting a check to the Wes Leonard Foundation for $14,544.38, which was raised during its Wolverine Conference for a Cause fundraiser.
Each of the member schools took part in the fundraiser Feb. 15. League members sold short- and long-sleeved t-shirts and acquired corporate sponsorships.
Dowagiac traveled to Edwardsburg for its girl-boy doubleheader. The Eddies and Chieftains were playing for first place in the West Division that night when the boys teams took the floor.
The Wes Leonard Heart Team will be presenting Wolverine Conference schools with AED machines.
