The Edwardsburg Presbyterian Church Women celebrated a “sweet success” at their 43rd annual Salad Smorgasbord and Style Show, which was held March 20.

The theme this year was “Simple and Sweet” and the decorations were candy decorations on all the tables to brighten up the entire gymnasium at the Edwardsburg High School. Many thanks go out to the community for coming and especially for the “friends of the church” that not only purchased a ticket to come to the event, but arrived bringing homemade salads with them.

Each year the goal is to sell 400 tickets and each year the church has been blessed with many friends that help to make the fundraising event a reality with the many salads donated. A couple ladies (friends of the church) even bring all the bread each year.  The women of the church make their famous hot chicken salad and then there is an array of delicious salads that the ladies make along with help of donations.

The Church leaders say they are truly blessed for all the help to make the fundraiser a huge success year after year. The church wishes to thank each and every one that came, helped, and was a part of the salad smorgasbord to make it such a great festive evening. Many thanks from the Little Church in the Heart of Town.
