High school MDOP crime of the week

The crime of the week comes from the files of the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department.

On July 4, at approximately 11 a.m., the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department responded

to Michigan Lutheran High School, 615 E. Marquette Woods Rd., Royalton

Township, in regards to a malicious destruction of property complaint.

Unknown suspects broke into the maintenance shed and drove a John Deere Gator through the softball and baseball fence, set fire to the scoreboard and caused other damage.

Crime Stoppers wants the person or persons responsible for this malicious destruction of property and will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to their arrest.
