Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church celebrated the dedication of its new church with close to 400 parishioners in attendance Nov. 22.

The presiding celebrant was the Most Reverend Paul J. Bradley Bishop of the Kalamazoo Diocese. Bishop Bradley was joined by four Principal Concelebrants including the Rev. Joseph McCormick, Pastor of Our Lady of the Lake and the Rev. Dave Otto, former pastor.

In the spring of 2014, the $2.4 million renovation and expansion of the church was undertaken. The project with space to accommodate 400 in the church includes a sanctuary, a large narthex, renovated office space, meeting rooms and expanded parking.

More than 550 families belong to Our Lady of the Lake and many of those families were on hand to participate in the dedication mass and reception which followed the mass.
