Chamber in motion

Niles is home to some of area’s finest small businesses, non-profits, and manufacturing companies.  From the active service clubs, to the mom and pop diners, to the eclectic antique shops, and everything in between, this community is a great place to live, work and play.  The Chambers role in the community is to help encourage and strengthen economic development and support local member businesses.
Over the past few weeks the Four Flags Area Chamber of Commerce has been busy celebrating area business.  New businesses openings include Express Auto and K’s Massage 4 Health on S. 11th Street, and a grand re-opening for Studio 224 Salon in downtown Niles.   New member businesses include Edgewater Bank-Buchanan, Mainly Baseball Memorabilia, Sun Services, LLC, Bank of America-Niles, Back to Basics-Wellness, Lifestyle and Training, McGladrey, LLP, Buchanan Meadows and Tri-Valley Glass.  Welcome to the chamber and thank you for helping build a better business community. Coming up on June 27th is the grand opening/open house and Business After Hours networking event for the new Lakeland Medical Suites. The Open House is from 1pm to 5pm. The Business after Hours is from 5pm to 7:30pm and features networking, delicious catering by Olfactory Hue Bistro, door prizes, cash raffle, music and fun. Please RSVP to the Chamber.
Lakeland Medical Suites, located at 42 North St. Joseph Ave., Niles, is a 42,000 sq. ft. medical complex that will house 10 specialty physician practices including Ambulatory Infusion Clinic, Berrien Regional Associates in Neurology, Great Lakes Gastroenterology, Lakeland Cancer Specialists, Lakeland Center for Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine, Lakeland Comprehensive Weight Loss Center, Lakeland Ear, Nose and Throat, Lakeland General Surgery, Lakeside Diabetes & Endocrinology Center, Lakeside Urology, Southwestern Medical Clinic- Center for Women’s Health and Van’s Medical Equipment of Lakeland.   Many thanks go to Lakeland HealthCare for choosing to invest in Niles.
Save the date!  Tuesday, July 3, will be the Fireworks Celebration for Niles. This marks the 27th year the Niles Chamber of Commerce will host fireworks. Come out to the Four Flags Area Apple Festival Fairgrounds, on the corner of Lake and 17th streets; bring a chair or blanket and help us celebrate the birth of our great nation! Vendors will be onsite. Free admission and good will gate donations will be accepted for parking.
