Police search for armed robbers

The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department is on the lookout for two men who robbed the Plaza One gas station in New Buffalo at gunpoint early Sunday.

At around 5 a.m., two black males wearing hooded sweatshirts and bandanas entered the gas station at 19290 M-239 in New Buffalo. One of the suspects was armed with a shotgun. An undetermined amount of cash was taken from the cash register. The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in finding these suspects.

One suspect is described as between 6 feet, 4 inches and 6 feet, 6 inches tall with a thin build. The other suspect is described as 5 feet, 5 inches to 5 feet, 7 inches with a thin build.
