Bridgman perfect in Lakeland jamborees

Bridgman is a perfect 3-for-3 in Lakeland Conference golf.

The Bees won their third consecutive Lakeland Conference Jamboree at Diamond Lake Golf Course in Cassopolis Friday afternoon.

Battling a variety of conditions, including gusty winds and rain, Bridgman behind the play of medalist Nick Knowlton’s 37, shot 173.

Brandywine was second for the third straight match with a 179. Host Cassopolis finished with a 215 and Buchanan a 217.

Alex DeJonge, who tied for medalist honors at the first two jamborees, led the Bobcats with a 40, Brandon James shot 51 to pace the Rangers, while the Bucks were led by Black Herwick’s 49.
