Lake Michigan College presents holiday choral concert

The Lake Michigan College Concert Choir and Voices LMC, directed by Daniel Hendrickson, will present a holiday concer at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 2. on the Mendel Center Mainstage.
The Concert Choir will perform Marc-Antoine Charpentier’s “Messe de Minuit pour Noel.”
Composed for chorus, soprano, alto, tenor and bass soloists and orchestra, this piece is scored in an intense and serious manner that is balanced by moments of light tunefulness and joyful celebration. Soloists include Emily Barrett of Berrien Springs, Nicole Stephens  of South Haven, Stephanie Pollard of Watervliet, Barb Frank of Benton Harbor, Michael Glowacki of Stevensville, Jackson Kerr of Berrien Springs, Ben Pohlman of Holland and Kendall Walker of Baroda). The Concert Choir will be accompanied by a professional orchestra of flutes, strings, and organ.
The Mainstage is located in the Lake Michigan College Mendel Center for Arts & Technology on the Napier Avenue Campus, 2755 East Napier Ave. Tickets are $7 for general admission, $5 for students and senior citizens. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Mendel Center Box office at (269) 927-1221 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
