Parchment sweeps BCS meet

Parchment swept the BCS Athletic Conference boys and girls track meet hosted by Brandywine Wednesday.

The Panthers edged Centreville in the boy’s portion of the meet 99.5 to 98. Brandywine was third with 37.5 points and Cassopolis fourth with 33.

The Parchment girls team finished with 88 points, while runner-up Centreville finished with 74 points. Cassopolis was third with 62 points and Brandywine fourth with 33.

Brandywine’s Bryce McClane captured the 1,600-meter run with a time of 4:50.80.

For the girls, Cassopolis’ Sophia Fiala won the 100- and 300-meter hurdles with times of 17.94 and 52.70 respectively.

The Rangers’ Amy Adams won the 1,600-, 800- and 3,200-meter runs with times of 6:05.70, 2:44.70 and 13:46.20.
