The company, led by director Eileen Springsteen, competed in eight routines over two days and attended master classes. Dancers also had the opportunity to attend a mock audition workshop.

A runner-up high score award was received for “Over the Rainbow.”

The company also received a Beach Ball Award.

This honorable award was given to select studios that showed professionalism and good sportsmanship throughout the week at competition and in master classes.

Encore Dance Company’s next appearance will be at Dowagiac’s Summer in the City dance performances July 27.
