Berrien County Crime of the Week

The crime of the week comes from the files of the Niles City Police Department.

On Jan. 15 and Jan. 17, during the afternoon hours, unknown suspects broke into two vehicles at the YMCA located at 905 N. Front St., and at Lakeland Hospital, located 31 N. St. Joseph St.

Both vehicles were damaged by unknown suspects who smashed the side windows and stole purses from both vehicles. The suspect’s vehicle is described as a white Chevrolet Lumina type passenger car.
