Circus meets Broadway

“Cirque Dreams Holidaze” is a winter-themed holiday production that was created by the internationally renowned Cirque Dreams, an American theatrical production company that combines the European cirque-style of performance artistry with American circus arts and Broadway theatrics.

Experience gingerbread men flipping mid-air, toy soldiers marching, snowmen daringly balancing, icemen powerfully sculpting, penguins spinning, puppets dancing and reindeer soaring above a landscape of holiday wonderment.

An original music score and some seasonal favorites accompany hundreds of astonishing costumes and holiday dreams in a setting of gigantic gifts, colossal candy canes and 30-foot towering soldiers creating a wonderland of spectacle.

The show is in its fourth year of touring.

Critics approve

New York Daily News said the show is “so full of energy it could end our dependence on oil,” while the Erie Times News said it is “stuffed with so much holiday cheer and audacious acts, Scrooge would exit with a big ol’ smile on his face.”

The show is geared towards children and adults alike.

Broadway World called “Cirque Dreams Holidaze,” “The Perfect Holiday Gift … chock full of stupefying stunts that Cirque Dreams’ competitors aren’t even attempting. It’s colorful, festive, imaginative, inventive and thoroughly entertaining. While they may not be as well-known as Cirque du Soleil or Ringling Bros, Cirque Dreams is certainly just as strong, and “Holidaze” rivals “The Rockettes’ Radio City Christmas Spectacular” in terms of production quality and entertainment value.”

Silver Creek Event Center is a 1,500 seat, multi-use facility located next to the casino floor. Details on all concerts at Silver Creek Event Center is available at  www.fourwindscasino.com/events.
Four Winds New Buffalo is located a 11111 Wilson Rd., New Buffalo.
