Pair arrested in Mason Township for meth

Two arrests were made in Mason Township by the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team in connection with a search warrant Wednesday.

At approximately 6:30 p.m. detectives executed a search warrant in the 70000 block of Tharp Lake Road. Two adults, a male and female, and one juvenile were present during the search of the residence.

Detectives located meth, meth components, meth paraphernalia, marijuana, marijuana paraphernalia and a firearm inside the residence.

The female was arrested at the scene for possession of meth, conspiracy to manufacture meth, delivery of meth, possession of marijuana, felony firearm and maintaining a drug house.

The Male was arrested at the scene for possession of meth, conspiracy to manufacture meth and maintaining a drug house.

Child Protective Services were contacted by detectives while on scene and assisted detectives with placement of the juvenile.

Both adults were lodged at the Cass County Jail and will be arraigned in Fourth District Court Friday.
