Brandywine falls in semifinals at New Buffalo

NEW BUFFALO — The Brandywine volleyball team lost in the semifinals of the New Buffalo Invitational to Kalamazoo Hackett Saturday.

The Irish defeated the Bobcats 30-32, 25-21 and 15-13.

Brandywine defeated New Buffalo (2-0), Bridgman (2-0), split with Hackett and defeated Eau Claire (2-0).

Olivia DePriest had 37 kills and 26 blocks for the Bobcats, who also got 54 digs from Sydney Carlson and 57 assists from Emily Erwin.
