Michiana band All My Sins Remembered is partnering with Pizza Transit in Niles to present the Rock for a Cure fundraiser Saturday night.

The event will take place from 8 to 11 p.m. at Pizza Transit, 215 E. Main St. It will feature four local rock bands: All My Sins Remembered, Easy Tone, Eyes for Fire and Half Fiction.

Pizza Transit will close for regular business at 8 p.m. for the event. A $10 charge at the door will get all-you-can eat pizza, drinks and live music.

Pizza Transit owner Sarah Brittin said she and Dan Perrine, of All My Sins Remembered, have been planning the rock show for a month as a way to raise money for the American Cancer Society. All proceeds will go toward Pizza Transit’s Niles-Buchanan Relay for Life team.

“It’s a great way to get a good dinner and see a great show for a really great price,” Brittin said. “We’ve had a great response so far and expect a pretty packed dining room.”

Brittin said she hopes to raise $1,000 and plans on doing more events such as this in the future.

Although the show is open to all ages, Brittin said it would be very loud during the concerts.

“You might want to bring ear plugs for the children,” she said.

The louder bands will play toward the end of the event.
