Jack F. Wagner, 90, of South Third Street, Niles, died at 10:10 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2009, at West Woods of Niles, following an extended illness.
There will be no public services or visitation.
Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery, Niles.
He was born on July 26, 1918, in Rochester, Ind., to George Wagner and Nellie Abbott Wagner.
He lived in Niles for 25 years coming from South Bend, Ind.
He worked for several companies in various capacities.
He was a member of VFW Post No. 624 in Roseland, Ind. and AmVets Post No. 1978 in Niles.
On Nov. 8, 1941, in Rochester, Ind., he married Ann (Filipenko) Wagner, who died March 14, 1999.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Surviving family includes a daughter, Gloria J. Patrick of South Bend, Ind.; grandsons, Kevin Patrick of Elkhart,Ind. and Michael Patrick of South Bend, Ind. and great-grandchildren, Brandon and Logan M. Patrick and Deanna L. and Connor A. Patrick.
Memorials may be made to Hospice At Home.
