Annette Marie Robinson, 69, of Niles, was granted her angel wings on Monday, July 13, 2020, in the presence of her home surrounded by family and friends.

Annette was born Aug. 16, 1950, in Chicago, to Wonneta “Willie” and Margaret Woods. Annette worked as a Physical Therapy Aide for more than 30 years before retiring.

Annette was a dedicated mother with a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh and feel welcomed. She made friends everywhere she went and loved her role as Granny.

She is survived by her four daughters, Shonita (James) Robinson, Sharon (Eric) Berry, Shawnette (Markus) Robinson, Shalana (Jimmie) Robinson; sisters, Margaret Tyler, Maxine Jenkins; brother, Irving Woods; special aunt, Jean Tutson; ex-husband and father of their daughters, Isaish “Zipp” Robinson Jr.; 13 grandchildren, Shoneisha, Shakeisha, Eric, Christan, Shaylan, Marcel Jr, Miracle, Ta’Niya, Candice, Treyvon, Kennedy, Ra’Shaun, JayQuan; four great-grandchildren, Farries, Ashton, Christopher, Kingston; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Annette is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Margaret Woods; lifetime companion, Herbert Martin.

Cremation will take place. A celebration of life for Annette will be from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. Online condolences may be made at hovenfunerals.com.
