Shirley A. Myers, 81, of Dowagiac, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2020, at the Timbers of Cass County.

A celebration of life service will be at noon graveside on Thursday, June 18, 2020, at Riverside Cemetery with Pastor Mark Jones and his wife Dawn Jones officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cass County Humane society or to the family, in care of Dawn Adam. Shirley was born July 16, 1938, in Dowagiac, to Harley and Josephine (Antisdel) Keene.

She was a graduate of Dowagiac High School, Class of 1957.

On July 27, 1957, she married the love of her life, Phillip Donald Myers, in Dowagiac.

In her spare time, she loved sewing and playing Bingo with her friends. Shirley had a love for animals, especially her beloved cat, Boots. Most of all she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Dawn (Bruce) Adam and Teresa Myers; grandchildren, Desiree’ (Rob) Litty, Jessica (Kyle) Rohdy, Morgan Adam, Phillip Matthew Parsons and Bo Stephen Parsons; one great-grandson on the way; siblings, Nancy Keller, Pat Keene and Barbara Green; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Phillip Myers.
