Bonnie A. Daisy, 71, of Dowagiac, passed away Monday, April 20, 2020, at her home.

A private gathering will be at Clark Chapel in Dowagiac with burial following at Rush Lake Cemetery in Hartford.

Bonnie was born March 18, 1949, in Benton Harbor, to Howard and Agatha (Williams) Daisy.

She attended Benton Harbor High School.

Bonnie worked as a substance abuse counselor for the Pokagon Tribe for seven years and later worked as a Head Start teacher helping with migrant infants and toddlers. She was a Pokagon Band Elder.

Bonnie was known as jokester; she enjoyed telling jokes and making everyone laugh.

In her spare time, she enjoyed playing board games, fishing, foraging and just being outside. Most of all, she loved her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Tina (Jeff) Morris, Brenda Edelberg,-Singh, Beth Edelberg and Jennifer Edelberg; grandchildren, Mathew Morris, Lorell Edelberg, Austen Igert, Alanna Singh, Rani Singh, Ryan Smalley, Samantha (Kevin) Smalley-Davis, Seth Sapp, Emily Moore, Dominick Moore, Devon Moore, Korbin Moore and Grayson Edelberg; great-grandchildren, Brody, Aubrey, Zoey, Ava, Parker, Reese, Rory, Razari and Avanaco; sisters, Judy Daisy-Sink and Shirley (Frank) Gallegos; brother, Terry Daisy; and many nieces and nephews.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Ernest Daisy, Howard Daisy Jr., Jerry Daisy, Karen Daisy, Arlene Daisy and Francine Daisy.
