BUCHANAN — Senior Cam Lorance was honored with the Burlsworth Character and Sportsmanship Award, which was presented to him by Buchanan coach Mark Frey Tuesday night.

“Cam is a tremendous young man, and he has been a pleasure to work with,” Frey said. “He truly has committed his heart and soul to not only to our football team, but to his basketball and baseball teams, to the school, and to the community. His ability to put others ahead of himself speaks highly of his character, and the Buchanan football staff wishes him nothing but the best in his future.”

The national award from the Burlsworth Foundation honors high school athletes who have demonstrated character and sportsmanship throughout their high school careers.
