NILES — The VanDenBerg Invitational trophy and title returned to the Niles boys soccer team for a 10th consecutive year.

The Vikings defeated Buchanan in the semifinals 8-0 in the 49th minute of play, before blanking Cassopolis 2-0 in the championship match.

The Rangers reached the championship match after beating host Brandywine 6-0.
