On Saturday May 12, the annual Letter Carriers Food Drive was held in Dowagiac and the surrounding area. The Feed My Sheep Food Pantry was one of the recipients of the food drive, receiving enough food to fill our pantry to overflowing.

The First Christian Church and feed My Sheep Food Pantry would like to give a big shoutout to the local letter carriers who helped to make this day a success, not just for the food pantries in Dowagiac, but for the need as well.

The food that was gathered and distributed will help feed those who are struggling on fixed incomes, disability benefits or just simply need a helping hand for a week or two.

Thanks for all you do to make life a little easier for those in need.
