Kimberly Ann Austin, 57, of Cassopolis, died peacefully Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018, in her home in the presence and comfort of her family.

She was born Sept. 28, 1960, in Evergreen Park, Illinois, to Richard and Roberta Adams. She married William Michael Austin in 1989 in South Dakota.

Kim was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and loved spending time with her grandkids. She loved traveling and camping with the entire family. Kim enjoyed trail riding with her horses, although she couldn’t ride a horse without her spurs.

Kim will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Bill Austin of Cassopolis; four daughters, Katie (Tadd) Caudill of Marcellus, Tarah Sheteron of Edwardsburg, Trisha (Chad) Knight of Niles, Billie Austin of Cassopolis; grandchildren, Lance Sheteron, Joseph Sheteron, Daniel Young, Chase Brawley, Emma Caudill, Ella Caudill, Madison Knight, Chelsea Knight; two sisters, Robin (Tom) Mosier of Cassopolis, twin sister, Kate Adams of Vandalia; brother, Troy (Sue) Adams of Edwardsburg; four nieces, Mollie, Annie, Marrisha, Ashley; and two nephews, Marty and Connor.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Paula Freestone; and one brother, Phillip Dasy.

Family and friends will gather from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, for a time of sharing memories in Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 North Broadway Street, Cassopolis.
