Sidonia Elizabeth Curtis, 52, of Cassopolis, died peacefully Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, in University of Michigan Hospital in the comfort of her family’s presence.

She was born April 7, 1965, in Niles, to Gary and Catherine Curtis, Sr.

Sidonia will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her two sons, DaShaun Curtis and Marquise Curtis, both of Cassopolis; her parents, Gary and Catherine Curtis, Sr. of Cassopolis; one sister, Karen Curtis of Cassopolis; two brothers, Elliott Curtis of Coldwater, Gary (Cindy) Curtis of Blacklick, Ohio; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gatherfrom 1 p.m. until a time of service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, in Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 North Broadway St., Cassopolis, with Elder David Johnson officiating. Sidonia will be laid to rest in Bethel Cemetery in Calvin Township, Michigan.
