Sandra L. Craige, 76, of Granger and formerly of Dowagiac, passed away at her home with her loving family at her side.

A celebration of life service will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, at Clark Chapel and Cremation Services, 405 Center Street, Dowagiac, with Chaplain Joseph Emmerth officiating. Burial will follow at South Wayne Cemetery.

Sandra was born May 6, 1939, in Dowagiac, to Perry Rider and Dorothy Hoadley. On Oct. 3, 1980, in Plymouth, Indiana, she married James Craige. Sandra and Jim drove truck for many years together; she enjoyed transporting fresh orange juice out of Florida. Sandra was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed gardening and sewing. Her daughters remember her making clothes for them when they were children along with blankets and clothes for their dolls. Sandra loved her family and they always knew she would be there for them. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.

Sandra is survived by her husband Jim, her daughters; Terry (Renee Barfield) Carter of Melrose, Florida, June (Larry) Keen of Athens, Tennessee, Penny (Fiancé David Pacheco) MacNeal of Elkhart Indiana and Gina Carter of Elkhart Indiana, 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and a son by love Nicholas Carter.
