Cynthia M. Jann, age 60 years of Niles, Michigan died surrounded by her family at 4:17 a.m. on Monday, August 10, 2015 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Saint Joseph, Michigan following an extended illness.

She was born on February 18, 1955 in Niles to Wilbert and Evelyn (Schram) Jann. She was graduated from Niles High School, and had recently been employed at Harding’s Friendly Market in Niles. She has lived here all of her life.

Cyndi loved her family, and a great circle of wonderful friends with whom she enjoyed sharing much laughter and fun, often in large gatherings.

She was preceded in death by her parents “Peewee” and Evelyn Jann, and by brothers, Larry, Robert, Russell, and infant Jerry Jann, a sister, Patricia Teske, and a brother-in-law, Dennis Hanback.

Surviving family includes her children, Sonya (Al) Listenberger and Angie R. Vance, both of Niles, Nicole Pearson and Bruce Pearson, both of South Bend, and Christiana (Larry) Manley of Niles; grandchildren Victoria Woods, Allison Woods, Blaine Clark, Chris Listenberger, Cameron Listenberger, Peyton Bradley, Riana Wilson, Alex Manley, and Aidan Pearson; Cyndi’s siblings, Shirley Erwin, Carol Motry, and Sandy (Stan Skowronki) Hanback, all of Gaylord, Michigan, Mary Ann (Randy) Billard, Julie Davis, and Mark Jann, all of Niles, a sister-in-law, Sharon (Mrs. Russell) Jann of Gaylord; and many nieces and nephews.

The family of Cyndi Jann will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, from 2 until 4 p.m. at the Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles.
