This past Sunday I went to visit my parents in the Villamere subdivision.  I was astonished at the condition of the roads.  It was completely covered with snow and ice and the divots in the road from the melting/refreezing made it very hard to drive on.

Wouldn’t you think that the city would tend to this road considering a majority of the residents are senior citizens?  In my travels around town, there isn’t another city street in the condition this one is in.  In fact, the rest of the roads were actually dry!  I went there again last night and there is still ice on the roads.

Please, City of Dowagiac, help out these senior citizens by keeping their road clean and safe!
