Roby Gene Denney, 33, of Niles, Michigan died on Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, unexpectedly. He was born April 24, 1981, in Niles to Ronald Lane and Dawn Denney.
Roby attended Niles High School and was very athletic; participating in football and baseball. He worked locally as a handy man and general home repair. Roby had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need.

Surviving family includes a son, Kyle Denney, mother Dawn (Michael) Ford, father, Ronald Lane all of Niles; sister Michelle Ford of Niles and Starr Ford of Ann Arbor, Michigan and a brother Dane (Kayla) Ford of Shreveport, Louisiana. Roby also leaves behind a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and his beloved dog.
Funeral services for Roby Gene Denney will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, at the Halbritter Funeral Home with Rev. Fran Lane-Lawrence of First Presbyterian Church officiating
The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home one hour before services.
Donations in memory of Roby may be made to the organization of the donor’s choice.
“Always in our hearts and dreams.” He will be truly missed.
