James “JB” B. Frost, 82, of Niles passed away Oct. 10, 2014, in his home.

James was born Jan. 29, 1932, to Leslie and Annie Frost in Marked Tree, Arkansas.

James married his wife Della M. Mask on May 31, 1951, in Marked Tree. James worked for 42 years as a Millwright at French Paper Mill before he retired.

He is survived by wife, Della M. Frost; son, James Frost of Niles; daughters Patricia Blankenship of Portage, Indiana, Janet Miller of South Bend; Brothers, Louis Frost of Niles, Curtis Frost of Buchanan; sisters, Vivian Jourdan of Niles, Lois Brown of Siketon, Missouri; 10 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

James is preceded in death by parents Annie and Leslie Frost; daughter, Shirley Stump; sisters, Clela Whitaker and Virginia Balentine and brother, Leroy Frost.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Hoven Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Livengood officiating. Visitation will be 3 hours prior from 10-1 p.m. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
