Juan was born on Oct. 22, 1991 to Juan and Alicia (Luna) Meza, Sr., in Berrien Center, Michigan. Juan graduated from Dowagiac Union High School in 2010. He was attending Michigan State University with plans of becoming a pediatric doctor.

Anyone who knew Juan would say that was the perfect profession for him. He always seemed to have a group of young people and children around him. His love of soccer led him to be a star player for the Dowagiac Chieftains and made him a natural as a coach for the younger children.

Juan was known and loved by many people, young and old alike. He always had a kind word and a big smile for everyone.

Juan is survived by his parents, Juan and Alicia Meza Sr.; his sisters, Natalia and Maria Jesus Meza, all of Dowagiac.

The family would like to take this time to extend their deepest appreciation to all of the friends and family that have expressed love and concern during this very difficult time.

Contributions may be made to the family. Please take the opportunity to sign his guestbook and share a memory of Juan at www.clarkch.com.
