Anthony James Crumb, 52, of Cassopolis, died peacefully, Saturday, June 7, 2014, in his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Feb. 7, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois to Junior Brown and Deatrice Jackson. He married Brenda Joyce Adams June 4, 2014, in Niles, Michigan.

Tony’s passion was poetry and his hobby was drawing. He loved watching cartoons, especially the super heroes, and loved making people laugh. Tony lit up the room with his big smile.

Anthony will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Adams) Crumb of Cassopolis; three step sons, Allen (Tina) Adams and David Adams, all of Farmington Hills, James Woodard IV of Westland, Michigan; seven step-grandchildren; his mother and step father, Willie and Deatrice (Jackson) Booker of Cassopolis; nine sisters, Donzella (Raphael) Beecham, Nadine Booker, Corine (Tyron) Jackson, Stephanie Booker and Willa Booker, all of Chicago, Vera Jackson of Michigan, Gayla Crumb of Atlanta, Georgia, LaMeasia Booker of Atlanta, Jacqueline Booker of Cassopolis; one brother, O’Dell Crumb of Michigan; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather Saturday, June 14, 2014 from 4 p.m. until time of service at 5 p.m. in Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 North Broadway Street, Cassopolis, with Apostle Christopher J. Pittman officiating.

The family prefers contributions in Anthony’s memory be made to the funeral home to assist with Anthony’s memorial.
