Douglas Neil Graham, 94, of Three Rivers

Douglas Neil Graham, 94, of Three Rivers passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Riverview Manor of Three Rivers. Douglas was born on December 25, 1918 the son of Douglas N. Graham and Mary Francis(Coon)Graham.

Douglas served his country honorably in the Army Air Corps and was stationed in St. Angelo, TX during World War II. He was married to the late Thelma Josephine Oosterveer on June 30, 1943. This blessed union would last sixty-six years until her death in 2009. Douglas was also preceded in death by his parents and his four siblings.

Douglas was involved for many years in the Cass County 4-H Bridle Club where he also served as past President. He retired from Yellow Freight Lines in 1980. He and his wife traveled extensively throughout the United States after their retirement, eventually settling in Texas. They returned to the Three Rivers area in later years to be close to their family.

Douglas leaves to cherish his loving memory four children, Neil(Linda)Graham of Mesa, AZ, Perry(Patricia)Graham of Niles, MI, Marcia(Ronald)Smith of Wabash, IN, and Mary(Larry)Burr of Phoenix, AZ; also thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am until time of services at 11:00am on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St; Three Rivers, MI 49093 with son-in-law, Ronald Smith officiating. Military Honors will be conducted under the auspices of the American Legion Post # 170.
