James R. Thomas, 72, of Buchanan, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Kindred Hospital in Mishawaka, Ind., with his wife at his side.

In keeping with James’ wishes, cremation has taken place and his family will be having a private memorial at a later time.
