Betty Louise Sink, 64, of Cassopolis, passed away on July 12, 2012, at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.

Betty’s life began Aug. 10, 1947, in Batesville, Ark., the daughter of John Ingram and Allie (Hightower) Ingram. Betty graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1967. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and spending time with grandkids and family.

Betty’s family includes her fiance, Robert M. Johnston; daughters, Ronda Godshalk, of Cassopolis, Hope Sheppard, of Niles; grandchildren, Ciara, Torry, Alyssa, Grace, Justin, Robert, Claudia, Isabella; great-grandchildren, Mariah, Skylar, Marissa; and sister, Bessie Joyner.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, George and James Lawrence; and grandchildren, Jacob and Gabrielle.

Her family will gather with friends at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 17 until the time of the service at 11 a.m. at Yazel & Clark Chapel. Burial will take place in Shanghai Cemetery.
