NILES — Barbara Hentsch, 71, of Oak Street, Niles, passed away at her home on Friday, July 16, 2010, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

The homemaker graduated from Niles High School in the Class of 1957.

Those wishing to make a memorial donation in Barbara’s memory may do so to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church; 1340 Sycamore St., Niles, or to Hospice at Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 20, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, with the service Wednesday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at 11 a.m. with Pastor Carl Basset officiating.

Interment will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery.
