COMSTOCK – The Dowagiac JV baseball team split a doubleheader with Comstock on Wednesday.

The Chieftains dropped the opener 4-2, but bounced back to win the second game 10-9.
Matt Ernzen singled, doubled and drove in a run in the first game, while Tony Brooks added a double.

Jacob Williams took the loss.

In the nightcap, ToddMcIntyre had three hits and an RBI, while Brooks singled, doubled and drove in three runs.

Logan Pell added a pair of hits.

Ryne Willming pitched six innings to earn the victory, allowing just one earned run on six hits with three strikeouts.
