To the editor:
We are the proud grandparents of Madeline Grace Johnson who was born April 26, 2009, to Corrine and Garrett Johnson of Buchanan. We want everyone to know how we feel about our own small local hospital, Lakeland Regional-Niles.
We were extremely pleased with the overall experience at Lakeland Regional-Niles. It was just great. All of the nurses, doctors and entire staff were very professional and caring. They all made us feel that our daughter and granddaughter were the only patients they were caring for at the time.
Whoever says bigger is better certainly has not had the pleasure of having a baby delivered at Lakeland in Niles.
