Wanda Lee “Sybil” Clark, 68, of 1839 South 12th St., Niles died at 11:56 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at home of natural causes.

She was born Oct. 15, 1941 in Niles, where she was a lifetime resident. She was a folder at Simplicity Pattern Co. in Niles. She was a member of Bertrand Bible Church in Niles.
She married John C. Clark Sr. during the summer of 1959 in Niles. He survives.

Wanda is also survived by a son, Jay C. Clark, of California; brothers, Robert Simpson, of Niles and John Simpson, of Niles; and a sister, Norma “Jean” Bybee, of Buchanan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Rachel Simpson; two sons, John C. Clark Jr. and Scottie Clark; a daughter, Dottie Clark; five brothers, Claude Simpson, Franklin “Frank” Simpson, Delano “Legs” Simpson, Rolland “Ronnie” Simpson and Michael “Mike” Simpson; and six sisters, Louise “Sis” Lawrence, Catherine “Toots” Gabbeart, Marjorie “Shug” Lemons, Delores “Blondie” Backus, Marilyn “Kay” House and Georgia “Georgie” Clark.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. Burial will be a Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, Niles.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 1 at the funeral home.
