To the editor:

This a wonderful day in the history of our world.

Thirty-three miners have been rescued after being underground longer than anyone before.

Think about it, only in these times could this been accomplished.

We have all kinds of technology, from drills to communication devices.

But most of all we have people who are willing to do what it takes for how ever long it takes to accomplish a task of this size.

People from all countries and all walks of life stepped in to do their share along with the Chilean government saying all along that money was not an issue.

Everyone at the site showed much joy and appreciation.

You could just tell that a great spirit prevailed over the entire area. Just to be able to see the excitement is something I will never forget.

Our hats should go off to all who worked so hard and long to rescue these miners.
