Cindy ‘Trae’ (Magnum) Seabright / June 24, 1950 — Aug. 17, 2010

NILES — Cindy “Trae” Sue Seabright, 60, of Dowagiac, passed away at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph in the early hours of Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010.

Trae was born on June 24, 1950. She graduated from Kalamazoo High School and went on to attend Southwestern Michigan College, which she graduated from in 1997 along with her two sisters and her daughter.

On June 19, 1997, Trae wed the love of her life, Wayne Seabright.

Together they traveled around the country, visiting most of the United States.

“She saw the world different,” said her family.

She was an accomplished and published artist and spent much of her time doing arts and crafts, scrapbooking, making cards and quilts and even oil painting.

She loved a wide variety of music and sang karaoke with her family, but, Elvis and the Beatles were always her favorites.

Her parents and sister Regina Broussard precede her in death.

Trae is survived by: her loving husband, Wayne; daughters, April Hill of Houston, Texas, Christina (Larry) Flores of El Paso, Texas, Amanda (Chris) Bundas of Aurora, Colo., and Angella (Derick) McConnell of Dowagiac; eight grandchildren; and sisters, Rachel (David) Sisk of Dowagiac and Candyce (Glenn) Roush of Pasadena, Texas.

Her family will be hosting a memorial service to honor Trae’s life on Monday, Aug. 23, at Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services at 5:30 in the evening.

Memorial donations may be made in Trae’s memory to the local Pet Refuge Inc., 2300 W. 6th St., Mishawaka, Ind.
